  • Fund Account Managers Meeting

  • NASC/CDF Board Retreat held from 11th to 15th August 2013 in Mombasa.

    The retreat brought together members of the National Assembly Select Committee on CDF,CDF Board members and staff to amend draft regulations.

    The CDF Board participated in the 2013 edition of the Mater Heart Run as part of its CSR activity. It is part of the CDF Boards sense of responsibility towards the community and environment in which it operates.

    The CDF Board had the privilege of hosting members of The South Sudan National Assembly,who paid a visit to the CDF Board office on 28th November 2013.

  • Public Awareness Campaign

    CDF Board conducted a sensitization and awareness campaign programme in Coast Region that covered three main stakeholder categories which are crucial to the successful implementation of the Fund and these are: Members of the CDF committees, the CDF implementing Partners and the Local media.

  • Pursuant to Section 24 of the Constituencies Development Fund Act 2013, all the Two Hundred and Ninety (290) constituencies elected new members of their respective Constituency Development Committees who were subsequently gazetted by the Cabinet Secretary. To enable the new committees execute their mandates effectively, the Constituencies Development Fund Board intends to Conduct Country- wide training of the gazetted members from early March, 2014.   • The Constituencies Development Fund Board conducted a four (4) days training on “Project Management: Monitoring and Evaluation” to Fund Account Managers from Western, Nyanza and North Rift Regions.   •   CDF Board, which is the body mandated to manage the Fund, has so far received Ksh.5.44 billion of the Ksh.23.065 billion allocations this financial year. By this time of the year (third quarter), the Board is supposed to have received Ksh.17.29 billion from Treasury leaving a deficit of Ksh.11.85 billion but this is yet to happen.
