Functions for the Publicity committee include :

• Create CDF awareness to the public.
• Respond to issues raised by the public.
• Training and capacity building for all CDF stakeholders.
• Documentation of CDF programs e.g. project reports, success stories, constraints using various mediums including visits, calendars and diaries.
• Draw the program of work/visit for the Board/ Committees and carry out such other duties as assigned by the Board.

Functions for the Projects Technical committee include :

• To provide policy guidance on Technical aspects relating to CDF projects.
• To advise the Board on choice of projects by CDFCs.
• To advise the Board and CDFCs on actual execution of projects (implementation) as regard to technical and related requirements.
• To advice on supervision of projects and the indicators to look for during supervision.
• To undertake technical audit services on projects as directed by the Board.
• To provide guidance on projects co-funded by several donors.
• Any other technical matter referred to the Technical Projects Committee by the Board.

Functions for the Finance and Administration committee include :

• Preparation of budget for the Board.
• Preparation of quarterly/annual financial reports of the Board.
• Establishment of the CDF organization structure and recommending to the Board the necessary amendments.
• Consideration of the Boards and Staff welfare.
• Consideration and approval of the Boards tenders.
• Managing Human Resource requirements for CDF.

Functions for the Audit committee include :

• Assist the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities.
• Report to the Board on Committee activities, emerging issues and their recommendations.
• Provide an open avenue of communication between Internal Audit, the External Auditors and the Board.
• Consider the effectiveness of the Constituency Development Fund Secretariat internal control system.
• Conduct or authorize investigations into any matter within its scope of responsibility.
• Perform any others duty as mandated by the Board.

Functions for the Complaints and Arbitration committee include :

• Arbitrate on complaints raised by the public, media and other CDF stakeholders.
• Ensure that Constituencies Development Fund Act and its regulations are adhered to.
• Resolves emerging disputes from the constituencies.
• Advise the members of the public, and other stakeholders on the best practices while implementing the CDF program.
